La Vida · Open-Air Booth
Open-air photo booth Rental in Los Angeles
No curtain, no box. Both of our booths are open-air, so the whole group fits in the frame and the backdrop becomes part of your decor.

Open-air versus enclosed, honestly
An enclosed booth is the kind you remember from the mall: a curtain, a bench and room for two or three people. An open-air booth drops the walls. The camera and lighting stand on one side, a backdrop stands on the other, and your guests fill the space between. Six friends, a whole court or three generations of a family can all be in the same photo.
Both the Beverly Booth and the Selfie Booth are open-air, and we do not rent an enclosed booth at all. The honest trade-off is privacy: with an enclosed booth your guests can get silly behind a curtain, while an open-air booth is part of the party and tends to draw a crowd around it. For most Los Angeles celebrations that crowd is exactly the point.
The other advantage is the backdrop. You choose from ten of ours, from the Brillo sparkle to the soft Champagne and the deep Sangre, or commission a custom backdrop from $180 with six to eight weeks' notice. Because the backdrop is visible from across the room it becomes part of the decor, and the Beverly Booth's studio lighting makes it look as good in the print as it does in person.
Selfie Booth packages from $290 and Beverly Booth packages from $550, with free travel within 30 miles of Burbank. See every package and add-on.
Open-air booth
Do you have an enclosed booth?
No. Both of our booths are open-air. If you want more privacy we can place the booth in a quieter corner or along a wall, and our attendant keeps onlookers out of the frame.
How many people fit in an open-air booth?
Far more than an enclosed one. The Beverly Booth comfortably fits a full quinceañera court or wedding party, and the Selfie Booth works well for groups of four to six.
Which backdrops can we choose from?
Ten house backdrops: Aspen, Brillo, Champagne, Chila, Condesa, Eucalyptus, Fresa, Sangre, Teddy and Zen. Custom backdrops start at $180 and need six to eight weeks.
How much space does the photo booth need?
The Beverly Booth needs at least 8 x 8 feet and the Selfie Booth about 6 x 6 feet, plus room for guests to line up and look at their photos.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend at least four to six weeks ahead, and earlier for weekends, holidays and wedding and quinceañera season.
Can I customize the photo strip?
Yes. Every booking includes a custom template with your names, date and colours, and we can add logos and themed designs.
What is your deposit and cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit holds your date. Cancellations 30 or more days before the event receive a full refund; within 30 days the deposit can be applied to a future booking.
