A branded photo strip printed at a coffee company's launch party in Chatsworth

Three kinds of corporate event

Holiday parties are about the people in the room. The booth gives colleagues who rarely meet a reason to stand together, and the prints go home as a small, personal keepsake from the company. Two to three hours on the Beverly Booth covers the social window of most parties.

Launches and openings are about the product and the brand. The strip and the start screen carry the logo, the photos spread online and the booth becomes a reason to stay. We printed strips at a launch party and at two grand openings for a San Fernando Valley coffee company, and the branded print was the thing customers walked out holding.

Activations and pop-ups are about reach. Guests take a branded photo, share it from their phone and the brand travels with it. The Selfie Booth's instant texting suits this, while the Beverly gives a higher-quality image for the brand's own channels.

Branding the booth

Every booking includes a custom template, and for a corporate event that means your logo, colours and any tagline on the printed strip. Send us the brand guidelines or a logo file and we return a proof for approval, so marketing signs off before anything prints.

The start screen can carry the same branding, so the first thing a guest sees is the company rather than a generic prompt. A custom backdrop from $180 extends the brand to the photo itself, with six to eight weeks' notice; the house backdrops are available immediately and several, such as Zen and Aspen, are neutral enough to let the strip carry the branding.

Sharing and data

The Selfie Booth sends photos, GIFs and boomerangs straight to guests' phones by text or AirDrop, which is the fastest route to a post. The Beverly prints on the spot and delivers every file to you within 24 to 48 hours for the company's own use.

If your team wants to understand how the booth performed, the simplest measures are the number of sessions, the number of prints and the files delivered afterwards. Those three figures are easy to report back to whoever approved the budget.

Thinking about ROI

For an internal party, the return is morale and a tangible memory, and the question is simply whether the booth fits the budget. Our Beverly packages run from $550 for two hours to $850 for four, with the attendant, template and prints included.

For a launch or activation, our Brand Activation package is $850 for three hours. Measure it against the cost of other ways to get a branded image into a customer's hands and onto their feed. A print with your logo that sits on a fridge is a modest but durable piece of marketing.

Logistics

The Beverly needs about 8 by 8 feet and the Selfie about 6 by 6, each with one outlet. Office lobbies, hotel ballrooms and restaurant buyouts all work. Setup and breakdown are included and we arrive early enough to be ready before doors open.

Travel is free within 30 miles of Burbank, which covers most Los Angeles business districts. Beyond that a distance-based fee is written into the quote. We run two events a day, so for December parties book by early November to be sure of the booth you want.

COIs, invoices and paperwork

Most venues and many corporate offices require a certificate of insurance before a vendor sets up. La Vida is insured and we can issue a COI naming your venue or company on request. Ask for it when you book so it is on file before the event.

We provide a written quote that lists the booth, hours, inclusions, travel and deposit. A 50 percent deposit holds the date and the balance is settled before the event, which keeps the paper trail simple for an accounts team. We can work in English or Spanish for teams that plan in either.

Questions, answered

Good to Know

Can you put our logo on the prints and the screen?

Yes. Both the printed strip and the start screen can carry your logo and colours, and you approve a proof before the event.

Can you plan the event with our team in Spanish?

Yes. We plan in English or Spanish, and our attendant speaks both on the night, which helps at events with a mixed guest list.

Is the Brand Activation package different from the Beverly packages?

It is the Beverly Booth with the template and start-screen work directed at a brand rather than a couple, at $850 for three hours. Hours can be added at $150 each.

How quickly can we get a quote for a company event?

Send the date, venue, hours and which booth you prefer, and we reply with a written quote within 24 hours. There is no separate corporate rate card to decode.
