The strip
Idea one: match the template to your stationery. Your invitations already set the typeface, the colours and the mood. Send us the suite and we design the strip to belong to it, so the print on the fridge looks like the invitation that arrived months earlier. The custom template is included with every booking.
Idea two: go black-and-white glam. The Beverly Booth's studio lighting is built for it, and the Glam Experience add-on at $75 gives the smooth, editorial look that makes every guest look like they dressed for a magazine. It suits a formal evening wedding particularly well.
Idea three: two templates for two moods. A second template is $30. Use one classic layout for family portraits during cocktail hour and a looser, playful one once the dancing starts.
The extras
Idea four: the Newlywed Tattoo Club. A station of temporary tattoos guests apply before they pose. It is a small thing, but it gives people a reason to approach, something to show in the photo and a conversation starter for the rest of the night.
Idea five: Love Letters. A quiet table where guests write a note you open on your first anniversary. It pairs naturally with the booth, since people who have just laughed through a group photo are in the mood to write something sincere.
Idea six: the Audio Guestbook. The vintage telephone with your recorded greeting collects voice messages all night. Place it near the booth so the two share a corner, and record the greeting in both languages if your families speak both.
The guest book
Idea seven: scrapbook sign-in. For $50, the second copy of every strip goes into a Scrapbook and Guest Book beside a pen. Guests stick their photo and write a line next to it. You end the night with an album of faces and handwriting instead of a list of names.
Idea eight: ask the attendant to encourage the pair. Our attendant can gently steer guests from the booth to the scrapbook so the book fills evenly across the evening rather than only in the first hour.
The backdrop
Idea nine: choose the backdrop by the florals. If your flowers are garden greens, Eucalyptus or Zen carry the theme. If the reception is candlelit and gold, Champagne or Brillo. Deep burgundy or terracotta palettes sit well against Sangre or Teddy. All ten are included.
Idea ten: a custom backdrop for a specific look, from $180 with six to eight weeks' notice. A monogram, a pattern pulled from the invitation or a colour you cannot find elsewhere. Order it as soon as the stationery is final.
The timing and the etiquette
Idea eleven: open at cocktail hour and keep it running late. The booth is busiest while you are taking portraits and again after dinner. Three or four hours timed to those windows get far more use than the same hours starting at the first dance.
Idea twelve: set a prop rule. Curated props are included and chosen to suit the wedding, but tell us if you want a particular tone, elegant signs only, no novelty glasses, or everything on the table. Guests follow the attendant's lead, and the photos will reflect whatever you decide.

Pulling it together
Most of these ideas cost nothing beyond the package, since the template, props, attendant and prints are included. The Glam Experience, scrapbook, second template and custom backdrop are the only priced items above, and each is listed on our packages page so you can decide in advance rather than on the night.
