Photo booth at Castaway

Castaway sits in the Verdugo hills above Burbank, and we are based a few minutes down the road. Here is how our booth fits a celebration there.

Your celebration at Castaway

Castaway is a hillside restaurant and event venue in Burbank known for its city views and outdoor terraces. If you are planning a wedding, quinceañera or company party there, the Beverly Booth brings studio lighting that holds up as the sun sets over the Valley and the terrace lights come on.

We design your strip to echo the evening, whether that means your names and date, your company logo, or the colours of your florals, and we pair it with a backdrop that photographs cleanly against a view-heavy room. Our attendant keeps the booth moving so guests drift between the dance floor, the terrace and the prints without a bottleneck.

Burbank is our home base, so travel to Castaway is free and we can arrive early to coordinate with your planner on placement and power. We suggest reserving your date four to six weeks ahead, and earlier for spring and fall weekends.

Selfie Booth packages from $290 and Beverly Booth packages from $550, with free travel within 30 miles of Burbank. See every package and add-on.

How we set up at a hillside restaurant and event venue

  1. Ask your planner where catering carts and the band load in, and let us know; we schedule our setup around that window so the booth is ready before guests arrive.
  2. Sunset terraces are beautiful but bright; we place the Beverly Booth facing away from the low sun so faces stay evenly lit in every frame.
  3. Confirm a standard outlet within about 25 feet of the booth spot; our studio lights and printer run from a single circuit.
  4. Give the booth a lane that is not the path to the bar or the restrooms, so the line never blocks your servers.
  5. If the booth is outdoors, plan for the evening breeze off the hills; a backdrop against a wall or railing stays still and looks sharper in prints.

We confirm the exact spot, power and load-in with your venue coordinator before the date. More about photo booths in Burbank.

Questions, answered

Castaway

Does La Vida charge travel to Castaway?

No. Castaway is in Burbank, well within our free travel radius, so there is no travel fee on your quote.

Can the booth go on a terrace at Castaway?

Yes, as long as there is a flat spot of about 8 x 8 feet and a nearby outlet. We will confirm placement with your venue coordinator.

Will the prints show the view?

The booth uses our backdrop, so prints have a clean studio look. If you want the skyline in the background, ask us about an open-air setup and we will advise on lighting.

How much space does the photo booth need?

The Beverly Booth needs at least 8 x 8 feet and the Selfie Booth about 6 x 6 feet, plus room for guests to line up and look at their photos.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend at least four to six weeks ahead, and earlier for weekends, holidays and wedding and quinceañera season.

Can I customize the photo strip?

Yes. Every booking includes a custom template with your names, date and colours, and we can add logos and themed designs.

What is your deposit and cancellation policy?

A 50% deposit holds your date. Cancellations 30 or more days before the event receive a full refund; within 30 days the deposit can be applied to a future booking.
